The most delicious and easiest Choco Brownies ever

i really love-love-love this recipe because, the brownies will turn up so moist. I got it from a website and i use ingredients i have in the kitchen.

  • 1+1/3 cup (150 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1+ cup (300 g) sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup (170 g) butter
  • 90ml boiling water
  • 3 eggs (room temperature)
  • 120 g chocolate chips
  • 150 g chopped walnuts or pecan nuts
  • Hersey's chocolate syrup

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C
  2. Grease a 22" cake tin with butter or line with baking sheet etc.
  3. Melt the butter by microwaving it about 30sec to 1 min.
  4. In a bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and vanilla extract.
  5. Add eggs, melted butter and hot water and mix until smooth. If its too watery, add a little bit more flour.
  6. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
  7. Bake at 180 degrees C , approximately 20minutes. Then take out and cover it with aluminum foil so that the surface wont burn, then continue baking for about 10 to 15 minutes, until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean
  8. Cool the cake. Glace with the Hershey's chocolate syrup. Spread all over the cake.

Mocca-choco cake

Yesterday , i felt like baking after a long~~~ non baking period. Since i've moved into our new house i havent got the chance for baking even though i kinda enjoyed baking before.

I found this really easy chocolate cake recipe in a website but when i started preparing & measuring the ingredients i found that i don't have any coco powder, milk and butter. So i alter the recipe a lil bit and it turns out great. Try it yourself!

Ingredients:
1 + 1/2 cup (170 g) all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons nescafe powder (or any instant coffee powder)
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 pinches salt
1 cup (220 g) sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1/2 cup milk or water ( i use whipping cream )
1/2 cup vegetable oil (flavorless)
2 eggs

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C
  2. Grease a 23 cm cake tin.
  3. Mix flour, instant coffee powder, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
  4. Add milk/water, vegetable oil and eggs.
  5. Mix everything together until smooth, either by hand or by using an electric mixer at slow speed. If the batter is too runny you may add slightly more flour.
  6. Transfer to bake tin and bake at 180 degrees until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 35 to 45 minutes.

p/s: I use Hersey's choco syrup for frosting. superb!
