Cinnamon Roll


Ingredients:
untuk adunan roti:
  • 1/2 cup susu suam
  • 1 telur, suhu bilik
  • 2 1/2 table spoon margarine, melted
  • 2 1/4 cups tepung roti
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup gula pasir
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon yis segera
untuk fillings:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
for glaze:
  • 1/2 package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup gula aising
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon susu suam
Cara-cara:
  1. Campurkan sebati gula, margarine yang telah dicarikan, garam dan telur ke dalam bowl besar.
  2. Masukkan tepung dan yis. Masukkan susu sedikit demi sedikit sambil uli adunan. Uli hingga sebati dan lembut.
  3. Cover bowl dan biarkan doh di tempat yang panas sehingga doh naik 2 kali ganda (about 1 hour)
  4. Selepas doh naik 2 kali ganda, keluarkan doh dari bowl dan letakkan di atas papan kayu, let it rest for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Bentukkan doh ke bentuk 4segi , sapukan butter yang telah dicairkan dan taburkan cinnamon/gula mixture.
  6. Roll up doh, dan potong into 8 rolls. Place rolls ke dalam loyang yang telah di sapu butter. Cover dan biarkan naik 2 kali ganda (30minutes). Meanwhile, panaskan oven ke 200 darjah celcius.
  7. Bakar untill golden brown, about 15 minutes. Kalau bahagian atas hampir hangit, cover dengan aluminum foil.
  8. While rolls are baking, campurkan cream cheese, butter, vanilla extract, salt and milk ke dalam bowl, dan gaul sebati untuk glazing.
  9. Selepas bakar, check roll yang paling tengah, if it still sticky, bakar lagi 5 minit.
  10. Keluarkan rolls dari loyang, biarkan 5-10minit sebelum di letakkan glaze.

Apple Butter by Microwave

















this Apple Butter is very easy which can be made by microwave. It tastes like a thick apple jam.

Ingredients (for 1 medium Jar):

  • 2 apple, dipotong dadu ( tidak perlu buang kulit)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Method:
  1. Masukkan apple, lemon juice, maple syrup dan cinnamon ke dalam bekas yang microwave safe.
  2. Microwave on high for 15 minutes.
  3. Transfer mixture to a blender and process until smooth.
  4. Masukkan semula mixture to the bowl and microwave 5 minutes lagi.
  5. Biarkan sejuk dan transfer to a jar. Store in refrigerator.

Easy (Whole-wheat) Bagel


Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour ( for whole-wheat bagel: 1 cup whole-wheat flour + 1 1/2 cup bread flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • approx. 1 cup warm water(varies depending on type of flour and weather)
Method:
  1. Put flour, sugar, and salt into large bowl and mix .
  2. Add yeast and water little by little, then knead together ingredients with hands until its manageable.
  3. Take out the dough onto a flat kneading surface. Knead until the dough is no longer lumpy and powdery, approximately 15min.
  4. Cut dough into 6 pieces. Shape into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel to prevent drying and let rest about 20 minutes.
  5. Shape the dough. Roll out the dough into a rope and tie the ends together.
  6. Cover the bagels with plastic wrap and let rest for about 20 minutes (30-40 min during winter time)
  7. Then, fill a frying-pan with water and a teaspoon of sugar or honey and bring to a simmer. Preheat oven to 190 degree Celsius.
  8. When the dough is ready(naik 2 kali ganda) , carefully drop them into the water and let them simmer for about 15 seconds on each side, flipping them only once. The bagels should float.
  9. Take the bagels out and blot excess water. If you would like to add toppings, do so now. (For toppings such as sesame, dump out the toppings on a small plate and gently press the top of the bagel into the topping. )
  10. Put the bagels onto a baking sheet or sapukan olive oil on the baking tray and let bake until brown, approximately 15-20 minute.
Note: You can use whole wheat flour and even ingredients such as cocoa,blueberry, cinnamon/nutmeg to make different kinds of bagel dough. Be sure to decrease the amount of added water accordingly

Plain Bagel


Bahan- bahan (untuk 6 biji):
  • 300g tepung roti
  • 1 sudu besar gula
  • 1 sudu kecil garam
  • 1 sudu kecil dry yeast
  • 170ml air








Cara- cara:
  1. Campurkan semua bahan-bahan ke dalam mangkuk. Uli sehingga tak melekat ditangan.
  2. Bahagikan adunan kepada 6 bahagian. Buat bentuk bulat dan rehatkan selama 5 minit.
  3. Ambik satu biji doh. Canai jadi mcm bentuk Oval (bujur)
  4. Gulung doh memanjang dari arah seperti dlm gambar.
  5. Pastu getel biar jadi panjang lebih kurang 24-25cm.
  6. Tekan pada satu bahagian hujung. Biar jadi leper.
  7. Ketemukan dua hujungnya.
  8. Cantumkan kedua-dua hujung. Biarkan bercantum
  9. Buat sampai habis. Biarkan naik selama 40-45minit.(doh naek 2 kali ganda)
  10. Panaskan oven sehingga 210 degree. Untuk bagi bagel nampak berkilat, sebelum bakar bagel dalam oven; dalam fry pan, panaskan air sehingga mendidih. Perlahankan api. Masukkan 1 sudu besar madu. Masukkan pula bagel tadi. Biarkan bagel terendam air selama 30 saat utk setiap permukaan.
  11. Kemudian terus bakar bagel dalam oven suhu 210 darjah selama 13minit.
